case studies

8 year old boy diagnosed with Bell’s Palsy (Facial paralysis). Patient was unable to sleep without his eyes being taped shut. Cranial nerve work was provided over 3 treatments to release the fixation of his facial and maxillary cranial nerves. He has had 90% returned function and sensation within those three treatments, as well as, sleeping without taping his eyes shut anymore. He is able to speak clearly again, smile and control the movements of his facial and eye muscles.
40 year old female referred with interstitial cystitis (bladder pain). Previous treatments were not effective. Upon initial evaluation, the patient presented with both bladder pain as well as left ear fluid and clogging symptoms that she was seeing an ear nose and throat physician without success. After a few treatments that required my attention to her left vagus and cranial nerves, the patient had complete recovery and pain relief of her bladder pain and ear symptoms. This shows the complete interconnections of the human body. We always need to look at the body as a whole and see the complete picture, respecting how everything is connected!

50 year old male with right buttocks pain for 10 years. Multiple attempts of treatments with various practitioners over the years with no change. Patient was treated by me 4 times and had complete recovery of his pain. Patient felt the burning radiating pain into his right buttocks and leg, however this is a good example that your pain location is often not the location of dysfunction. In this case he needed work done from his lower abdominal and anterior hip flexors to release the fixations along his nerves, as well as, his colon/cecum (visceral organs) and inguinal/groin region.
52 year old female referred with mid and low back pain on/off for years that was completely debilitating. Previous treatments over the years failed. Understanding and listening to a patient’s past medical history is extremely important, and in this case, revealed a significant head trauma from a ski accident in her 20’s, long term vertigo, leg and foot pain, and chronic headaches. Treatment involved cranial and brain work, brain stem and peripheral nerve and soft tissue work throughout her body due to years of body adaptations and compensations. Patient is currently pain free, with an overall improved function that includes elimination of headaches, vertigo, and back pain.

78 year old male referred for left lateral hip and thigh numbness for most of his life. Past history revealed he worked as a newspaper boy delivering newspapers on his bike. He always carried the bag on his left hip over his shoulder. He explained his leg went numb at 14 years old around the same time he delivered papers. After 3-4 treatments his lateral hip and thigh numbness went completely away after 60+ years. Goes to show our body’s have brilliant capabilities of healing at all ages.
